A new Cath Lab Room was added two years earlier and an increase in program volumes required the addition of another Cath Lab Room. An adjacent vacated emergency department space allowed for the new room to be designed as a combined Cardiovasular Suite. The suite was also designed to relocate existing functions such as a staff locker room, physician reading room, and a shared supply room adjacent to the side by side Cath Lab Rooms. In addition to the state of the art hemodynamic and flat panel imaging in the new room, equipment for electrophysiology procedures was installed to increase the capabilities of their services.
